JMB Environmental Consulting Pty Ltd (Hazmat Labs) is an innovative, multi-disciplinary environmental consultancy with offices and NATA accredited laboratories in Sydney, Canberra and Townsville.

We specialise in asbestos and hazardous materials management, occupational hygiene, indoor air quality, mould and moisture assessments and laboratory services.

The role:

We have an exciting opportunity for a Laboratory Technician Trainee in our Sydney laboratory to assist with the delivery of laboratory services for clients in NSW, the ACT and across Australia and help promote our purpose of improving health and wellbeing within the workplace and home.

Working to help deliver analysis services, participate in the development of new services and grow our laboratory business, the successful candidate will apply approved laboratory methods, use and maintain instrumentation and ensure good laboratory practices and quality assurance processes are applied to meet and exceed industry standards.

The role will support experienced managers and consultants and develop your understanding and skills in laboratory services for the hazardous materials management, air, occupational hygiene and contaminated sites markets.
