About the role

Exciting opportunity for an experienced Oral Health Therapist to join the dynamic team at Nice Bite Orthodontics at Strathfield, NSW.  The position is for 1.5 days a week. The days available are Tuesday and Thursday.

As an Oral Health Therapist, you will play a vital role in providing comprehensive orthodontic care and treatment to our diverse range of patients. This is a fantastic chance to grow your career in a supportive and innovative specialist healthcare environment.

What you will be doing

  • Removal of fixed appliances and placing fixed retainers
  • Fitting clear aligners
  • Assisting the orthodontist with various procedures with fixed appliances and aligners
  • Maintaining detailed patient records and treatment plans
  • Collaborating with the team to ensure high-quality, coordinated patient care
  • Adhering to all practice policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements

What we're looking for

  • Degree in Oral Health Therapy or equivalent qualification
  • Registration with the Dental Board of Australia as an Oral Health Therapist
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar role in a dental or orthodontic private practice setting
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with patients
  • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
  • Commitment to delivering high-quality, patient-centred care
  • Flexible and adaptable approach to working in a fast-paced environment
