STORE MANAGER – MUSIC JUNCTION BLACKBURN

Music Junction is looking for a dynamic, experienced, and people-focused Store Manager to head up our Blackburn location. This is a rare opportunity to join a long-standing, family-run business that has journeyed with musicians of all levels for over 50 years.

We're a one-stop-shop for instruments, print music, accessories, repairs, and honest, expert advice – and we're looking for someone who shares our love of music and service excellence.

What you'll be doing:

Managing the day-to-day operations of our Blackburn store

Leading, mentoring, and supporting a team of passionate music staff

Driving sales and ensuring exceptional customer experiences

Overseeing inventory, store presentation, and merchandising

Contributing to the local music community and building strong customer relationship

Who you are:A natural leader with a minimum of 5 years' experience in previous retail or store management experience

Deep knowledge of musical instruments, accessories, and retail product lines – across orchestral, band, and contemporary gear

Customer-focused with a genuine love for music and the people who make it

Organised, motivated, and confident making decisions on the ground

Skilled in POS systems, stock control, and basic reporting

A proven team player who thrives in a hands-on retail environment

Must have access to a car and possess a valid driving license

Human Resource experience highly regarded but not necessary
