Centre Director / Nominated Supervisor – Little Ark Preschool

Little Ark Preschool is seeking a passionate and dedicated Centre Director (Nominated Supervisor) to lead our well-established, community-focused service in Leichhardt.

Little Ark Preschool is a licensed 37-place service that has proudly served the Leichhardt community for many years. We are known for our strong community connections, nurturing environment, and supportive team culture. Our service values high-quality education, collaborative partnerships with families, and professional growth for our educators.

The Role

As Centre Director and Nominated Supervisor, you will play a pivotal role in leading the service, managing compliance, and fostering a positive and professional team culture. This is a full-time, off-the-floor leadership role, giving you the opportunity to focus on administration, service management, and building strong family and community relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the daily operations of the preschool in line with the National Quality Framework (NQF) and Child Safe Standards
  • Lead enrolments, family engagement, and occupancy growth
  • Manage administration tasks including CCS, compliance, and staff rostering
  • Drive continuous improvement and maintain a high-quality educational program
  • Support and mentor a dedicated and passionate team of educators
  • Build and maintain strong connections with the Leichhardt community
About You

We are looking for a strong leader who is passionate about early childhood education and can bring their experience and vision to our service.

Essential:

  • ACECQA-approved Early Childhood Teaching qualification (or Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care)
  • Current Working With Children Check, First Aid, and Child Protection training
  • Strong understanding of the NQF, and regulatory requirements
  • Demonstrated leadership and administration experience in an Early Childhood setting and a strong emphasis on compliance.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
