Our Client specializing in producing premium quality of salad dressings and dessert. Located in Revesby, we are currently looking for a Warehouse Team Leader to join our dynamic team and play a key role in driving operational efficiency, safety, and continuous improvement within our supply chain.

About the Role:

As a Warehouse Team Leader, you'll be responsible for guiding and supporting a dedicated team in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment. You'll coordinate warehousing operations, manage relationships with transport and logistics providers, and ensure all processes align with food safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead, coach, and motivate a warehouse team to achieve daily KPIs and operational targets
  • Oversee receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods, ensuring accuracy and efficiency
  • Collaborate with transport and logistics providers to ensure timely and cost-effective deliveries
  • Maintain a strong focus on food safety, adhering to HACCP and GMP requirements
  • Promote and enforce a culture of workplace safety and compliance
  • Drive continuous improvement and lean manufacturing initiatives across warehouse operations
  • Support team development through training, feedback, and hands-on guidance
  • Operate forklifts and other equipment safely (must hold a current Forklift Licence)
  • Utilise basic to intermediate computer systems for stock management and reporting

What You Bring:

  • Proven experience in team leadership within a warehousing or manufacturing setting
  • Solid knowledge of warehousing processes and inventory management
  • Previous exposure to food manufacturing environments and food safety standards
  • Understanding of HACCP and/or GMP principles
  • Strong safety awareness and commitment to maintaining a safe workplace
  • Familiarity with lean manufacturing and continuous improvement (CI) practices
  • A current and valid Forklift Licence
  • Good interpersonal skills – able to build strong relationships across teams and departments
  • A proactive attitude towards personal and team development
  • Basic to intermediate computer skills (e.g., inventory systems, email, Excel)
