Position: Trainer / Assessor for RII50520 Diploma and RII60520 Advanced Diploma of Civil Construction Design

Location: Perth

Employment Type: Part-Time 22 hours per week

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality lectures and training sessions for the Civil Construction Design course.
  • Develop and update course materials, including lesson plans, assignments, and assessments.
  • Provide academic support and guidance to students, including mentoring and advising.
  • Assess student performance and provide constructive feedback.
  • Stay current with industry trends and advancements to ensure course content is relevant and up-to-date.
  • Participate in faculty meetings, professional development, and other college activities.

Required Qualifications and Skills:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
  • TAE40116 Certificate IV Training and Assessment or higher or willing to obtain these qualifications.
  • At least 3 years of industry experience in construction or a related area. Overseas experience also acceptable.
  • Previous teaching or training experience is highly desirable but not mandatory.
  • Knowledge about softwares like AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUP, Civil3D.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to inspire and motivate students.
  • Commitment to continuous professional development.
