THE ROLE

We're seeking an enthusiastic Helpdesk Trainee to join our team. This entry-level position offers hands-on experience and on-the-job training, leading to a recognized IT certification. School leavers with a strong interest in technology are encouraged to apply.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Throughout your traineeship, you'll develop skills in:

· Maintaining servers and networks

· Troubleshooting issues proactively and reactively

· Installing and configuring IT equipment

· Providing basic remote and phone support

· Ensuring all work meets quality standards

· Logging jobs accurately and maintaining documentation

WHAT WERE LOOKING FOR

  • Eligibility: Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident
  • License: Valid Victorian Driver's License
  • Strong work ethic and a genuine passion for IT
  • Commitment to delivering quality customer service
  • Basic problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
  • Sound written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Previous experience or qualifications are not essential, but VCE-level IT studies (IPT, VET IT, or equivalent) are desirablePrevious experience or qualifications are not essential although a background in IT at the VCE level completing IPT or VET IT or equivalent will be desirable
