The Lead Planner will serve as the primary planning liaison for clients, overseeing the planning and scheduling function across all East Coast projects, ensuring all project schedules are developed in accordance with RSGx's national standards, procedures, and governance frameworks to deliver consistent, high-quality results.
In this client-facing role, the planner collaborates closely with project teams, subcontractors, and clients to develop and maintain accurate schedules from pre-contract through to project completion.
- Drive integration of offshore planning support to provide scalable capability.
- Develop and maintain detailed schedules covering engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning, and close-out.
- Provide timely and accurate progress reporting, forecasts, and analysis internally and externally.
- Support project teams with delay analysis, extension of time claims, and change management processes.
- Work with delivery teams to ensure schedules are realistic, resourced, and aligned with project execution strategies.
- Apply governance and quality oversight in collaboration with the Planning SME and National PMO.
- Ensure consistency in planning practices, templates, and reporting across all East Coast projects.
- Actively contribute to the continuous improvement of RSGx planning tools, systems, and processes.
- Provide training, mentoring, and guidance to planners and schedulers across the region.
- Build strong working relationships with clients, consultants, and subcontractors.
Additionally, the Lead Planner is instrumental in integrating offshore planning support, enhancing scalability, and driving ongoing improvements across RSGx's planning operations.
About You
With over a decade of experience in planning and scheduling across EPC, power, resources, and infrastructure projects, you bring deep expertise in Primavera P6 and a proven ability to lead high-performing planning teams. Skilled in managing offshore resources and navigating complex project controls, they combine strong commercial acumen with hands-on knowledge of construction methodologies. Your communication skills, leadership qualities, and adaptability make you a standout contributor in fast-paced, high-pressure environments.
