Our client
Barnabas Aid
is a Christian charity that aims to support Christian communities and churches around the world that face persecution and discrimination because of their faith. This is a great opportunity to join an organisation where you can use your unique talents to serve the global persecuted church.

Reporting to the National Director, you will use your networking skills to help grow relationships with Churches, donors and volunteers to drive growth in VIC. This role will be based in Victoria from home, with a focus on growing the supporter base of Barnabas Aid, developing partnerships with Churches, establishing a solid pastor's network and a volunteer base and growing prayer groups to uphold the ministry of the Barnabas Aid.

You will also;

  • Present and speak at churches, conferences and events as required to highlight the work of Barnabas Aid.
  • Initiate the ongoing training, development and management of VIC based volunteers.
  • Contribute to the brainstorming, planning and implementation of expansion strategies for all opportunities across your region.
  • Develop a network of volunteer speakers, through recruiting them in local churches.
  • Oversee the established logistic network in VIC.

About You;

We are seeking a servant leader who is strongly aligned to the mission of this global ministry who can inspire others and build solid relationships with churches and key stakeholders. You're a person of integrity, highly organised, have good business acumen, you are people focused and can pioneer new opportunities across your State. You have a genuine passion for helping people and can demonstrate ability in public speaking and you possess a good knowledge and understanding of the Christian landscape in VIC. Previous experience working in a Christian not-for-profit organisation or past Missionary or church experience will be highly regarded.

Ideally you are seeking a position where you want to give back now and truly make a difference for those Christians who are being persecuted around the world.
