We are looking for a highly motivated, organised leader who wants to join our dynamic Home Anticoagulation Stewardship and Support (HASS) Service. You will have a caring disposition and be able to communicate effectively with the patient, their carers' and other health care practitioners in both the inpatient and outpatient settings.

You will be able to work autonomously and demonstrate specialist knowledge in all aspects of anti-coagulation ensuring the best possible care and advice is given to the patient. You will contribute to teaching, education and clinical supervision and be involved in service development projects supported by the Nurse Practitioner. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who wants to join our team and share in our vision and values.

This position is a shift working Senior Registered Nurse (SRN) position, and for a Permanent Full Time appointment up to 76 hours per fortnight (1 FTE). Job share arrangement may be considered.

What is our Clinical Nurse Specialist role?
As part of the Corporate Nursing Division, Clinical Nurse Specialist practises as a SRN in keeping with the Australian Nursing and Midwifery Board Registration Standards and Nursing Practice Decision Flowchart. This role provides clinical leadership and management within the organisation, clinical division and area(s) of responsibility. In addition, Clinical Nurse Specialist upholds and functions within the core values of the organisation and nursing values of Care, Respect, Innovation, Teamwork and Integrity.

Whilst this selection process will initially be used to fill the above vacancy, it may also be used to fill other "similar" vacancies throughout the health service. Both of these options remain valid for a period of twelve (12) months from when the authorised delegate endorses the recruitment decision.
