The Company

For the last 30+ years, our client has manufactured purpose built pumping systems designed to their client's requirements and specifications with a proven reputation of quality, reliability and service, supplying to a wide range of client's in the Mining, Oil & Gas, Construction, Heavy Industry and Utilities industries.

Due to our client starting up a new Repair Department they are currently building a team of Tradesmen and Trades Assistant to carry out Mechanical and Electrical repair.

Working Days & Hours

  • Working Days: Monday to Friday
  • Working Hours: 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM
  • Overtime: Some Overtime required from time to time
  • Location: Canning Vale

The Role

As Electrical Trades Assistant you will be working at our clients workshop based in Canning Vale in a new Department that carries out repair work across Mechanical and Electrical on water management equipment and components that includes;

  • Bore Pumps: Fixed or Trailer Mounted
  • Gensets: Used for Bore Sets & Dewatering Skids
  • Dewatering Skids: Diesel Powered
  • Clear Water Pumps Sets: High Pressure Multi Stage Pumps
  • Fire Fighting Sets: Pump Rooms
  • Liquid Transfer Pumps Units: Water, Fuel, Slurry & Grey Water
  • Valves & Pipe Work: Gate, Butterfly, Ball & Pressure Relief

About the Candidate

We are seeking a variety of candidates that possess varying levels of experience, technical expertise and qualifications which includes;

  • Trades Assistants – Electrical
  • Overseas Electricians without Grade A License
  • Restricted Electrical License Holders
  • Electrical Fitters
  • Electrical or Control Engineers

Essential Criteria

Whether you are an Electrical TA or a Grade A Electrician, we are seeking candidates that;

  • Possess at least 6 Months experience as an Electrical TA

Additionally, candidates that can demonstrate the following skills and traits are high on our list;

  • Attention to detail
  • Have the intention to commit up to 4 to 8 weeks of work
  • Be reliable, punctual and have a great work ethic
  • Understand electrical theory such as electrical voltage and control of electrical current
  • Be very safety conscious
  • Take pride in your work
  • Have contactable references

Remuneration

Depending on past work experience, technical expertise and qualification pay rates will vary from;

  • $38.00 to $42.00 Per Hour
  • + Over Time
  • + Super
  • Paid Weekly
