About the role
The ICT Account Manager plays a pivotal role within ICT Services, delivering high-quality, reliable, and customer-focused ICT Account Management services to participating schools and preschools.
Operating within a defined portfolio, the role acts as the primary liaison between schools and the Department's ICT Services, ensuring that local priorities, business requirements and operational issues are clearly understood and effectively addressed. By maintaining strong relationships with site leaders and key stakeholders, the ICT Account Manager ensures ICT services are aligned with educational and departmental outcomes.
This position also contributes to the ongoing strategic development and improvement of service delivery including the planning, implementation and optimisation of ICT systems and infrastructure.
The ICT Account Manager provides schools with a single, trusted point of contact into the full breadth of departmental ICT initiatives and support, helping to translate complex technical environments into practical, value-driven solutions that enhance teaching and learning outcomes.

Essential: Nil
Desirable: Qualifications related to Information Technology, ITIL methods or related fields
Special conditions
The successful applicant is required to gain a Department for Human Services (DHS) working with children check (WWCC) prior to being employed which is required to be renewed every five years before expiry.
The incumbent will be required to undertake RRHAN –EC (Responding to Risks of Harm, Abuse and Neglect - Education Care) Facilitator Lead (Masterclass) extended course or the online (Fundamentals) course which will be required to be updated every three years.

Remuneration
ASO7 $108, ,864 per annum (1.0 FTE) + superannuation (12%) and leave loading
