What You'll Be Doing

As a key member of the maintenance team, you'll be responsible for keeping critical automation systems running smoothly:

• Reactive maintenance : Attendant and rectifying errors efficiently
• Breakdowns and Fault Finding: Responding quickly to breakdowns, diagnosing mechanical and basic electrical faults, and implementing effective repairs.
• Mechanical Expertise: Applying your skills across hydraulics, pneumatics, gearboxes, bearings, and conveyor systems.
• Electrical Safety & Scope: Safely isolating, disconnecting, and reconnecting three-phase motors and ancillary equipment as part of your mechanical duties, utilizing your Disconnect/Reconnect Licence (D/R).

What You'll Need to Succeed

• Trade Qualification: Recognised Australian Fitter and Turner or Mechanical Fitter qualification.
• A current and valid Electrical Disconnect/Reconnect Licence (D/R) or the ability to obtain is required
• Drivers license
• Experience: Proven post-trade experience in a heavy industrial, manufacturing, or logistics environment, preferably with automated machinery.
• Skills: Strong fault-finding ability, experience with basic pneumatics, hydraulics, and general fabrication/welding is a bonus.
• Flexibility: Shifts available work either rotating day / afternoon shift roster OR Permanent Night shift roster.
