About the business
Whitsunday Transit is a fully integrated bus operation based in the Whitsundays, with sixty staff and forty vehicles. We operate our own workshop, reservations and administrative teams and are a seven day per week operation.
Our services cover public transport, school services, cruise ship shuttles and varied charter requirements both short and long distance.
About the role
The role is a Casual position that includes weekend/public holiday work.
Your main duties and responsibilities will include:
- Provide a safe and efficient transportation to public
- Provide a reliable public transport service in accordance with timetables
- Provides information and other general assistance to the public
- Must be well presented
- Must be a team-orientated person

About You
- Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills
- Ability to assess situations and make quick and practical decisions
- Ability to recognise and accept change
- High level of professional driving skills
Skills, Qualifications & Experience
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Experience in the Transport Industry - desirable
- Medium Rigid or above Drivers licence
- Drivers Authority QLD (we can help you obtain this authority)
