Position Details

East Adelaide Dental Studio is seeking an experienced and professional Dental Assistant to join our friendly and supportive team. This is a full-time position in a modern, patient-focused dental practice. You will work closely with our dentists to deliver a high level of patient care and clinical support.

Key Responsibilities

  • Chairside assisting for general, restorative, implant and cosmetic procedures
  • Maintaining a high standard of infection control and sterilisation protocols
  • Preparing treatment rooms and equipment for procedures
  • Processing radiographs and maintaining accurate records
  • Supporting the reception team when needed (including patient communication, invoicing, and receipting)
  • Contributing to the smooth day-to-day running of the practice

Required Qualifications and Experience

  • Certificate III in Dental Assisting or higher (essential)
  • Minimum 1 year of experience as a dental assistant or in a related healthcare role
  • Strong knowledge of infection control procedures
  • Excellent communication skills and professional, patient-focused attitude
  • Ability to work well in a team and multitask in a fast-paced environment
