Reports to: Venue & Marketing Coordinator
Location: Brookvale Taproom
Employment Type: Full-time | Wednesday to Sunday shifts
PurposeTo ensure the Dad & Dave's Brookvale taproom operates smoothly day-to-day, delivering excellent customer service, maintaining the venue to high standards, and supporting front-of-house (FOH) staff.
Key Responsibilities· Supervise FOH operations during open hours
· Ensure venue cleanliness, safety, and presentation meets Dad & Dave's standards
· Lead daily opening and closing procedures
· Ensure staff compliance with RSA and hospitality best practices
· Monitor and report stock usage and low inventory to the Venue & Marketing Coordinator
· Assist with setting up and packing down venue events and functions
· Support training and onboarding of new FOH staff
· Report maintenance, safety, or service issues promptly
· Deliver friendly and professional customer service and handle guest feedback or complaints
· Manage music, lighting, and general atmosphere during service
· Assist with POS and pricing updates, and ensure hardware is functioning properly
Skills & Experience· Valid RSA certification (required)
· Solid knowledge of craft beer styles, brewing processes, and beer service standards
· Prior experience supervising or working in a bar, taproom, or hospitality venue
· Strong customer service and communication skills
· Confidence managing shifts and supervising FOH teams
· Basic understanding of stock control and venue operations
· Organised, proactive, and hands-on approach to problem-solving
