• Base salary will be in the range $135,300 - $143, % Superannuation (HEW Level 9)

The University of Queensland is seeking a dynamic Senior Manager, Enterprise Support Systems to lead the management and delivery of Student Administration and Finance ERP environments across the University. This role oversees the provision of robust, cost-effective operational and professional services, ensuring critical enterprise platforms are aligned with business needs. You'll lead a large cross-functional team, fostering collaboration with stakeholders to deliver high-quality, strategic outcomes that support UQ's operational excellence and long-term goals.

Key responsibilities will include:  

• Manage the delivery and operational support of enterprise applications to agreed service standards, including managing the service pipeline and governance of all phases of the software development lifecycle.

• Partner with senior leaders to develop and implement strategic and tactical plans that enhance the effectiveness and scalability of enterprise systems.

• Lead, mentor and empower a high-performing team to deliver high standards of customer service, effective delivery of service and continuous improvement across Student Administration and Finance ERP environments.

• Oversee large and complex IT projects and budgets, ensuring quality outcomes, sound governance and adherence to UQ's cyber security and compliance standards.

You're an experienced and hands-on IT leader who thrives on delivering complex technology services in a fast-paced environment. With a strong background in enterprise applications and ERP platforms, you're passionate about transformation, collaboration and achieving meaningful business outcomes.

You will bring:

• Postgraduate qualifications in IT or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education, training and relevant experience.

• Extensive experience managing enterprise applications in complex environments, including Oracle PeopleSoft ERP systems.

• Proven ability to lead and motivate multidisciplinary teams through change while maintaining high service standards.

• Demonstrated success delivering large-scale IT projects and managing budgets effectively.

• Strong strategic, analytical and problem-solving capabilities with a focus on innovation and process improvement.

• Excellent communication, negotiation and stakeholder management skills with the ability to build long-term partnerships.

• Knowledge of agile methodologies and experience delivering services in an agile environment.

• Experience in the higher education sector is desirable, though not essential.
