Recreation Host

About the role

We are seeking a passionate and energetic Recreation Host to join our team at the Sutton Estate Co Pty Ltd in Pokolbin, NSW. As a casual Recreation Host, you will be responsible for providing an exceptional guest experience and facilitating a range of recreational activities for our visitors.

What you'll be doing

• Greeting and welcoming guests to the estate, ensuring they feel valued and well-attended to
• Organising and leading a variety of recreational activities, such as Smash Room, Axe Throwing, Wine Escape Room, Chocolate Escape Room and our newest activity The Splatter Bus.
• Assisting guests with information about the local area, including recommendations for dining, attractions, and wineries
• Maintaining a clean and well-organised recreation area, ensuring it is always ready to host guests
• Providing excellent customer service and addressing any guest concerns or inquiries in a timely and professional manner
• Collaborating with the wider hospitality team to ensure a seamless and memorable guest experience

What we're looking for

• Proven experience in a customer-facing role within the hospitality or tourism industry
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with guests of all ages and backgrounds
• Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritise tasks effectively
• A passion for the local area and a desire to share your knowledge with guests
• Casual Position Saturday & Sundays Hours approximately 9.00am to 6pm and extra hours will be available, if you're interested.
• A current First Aid certificate (or willingness to obtain one)
• RSA
• Drivers Licence
• Someone that's handy and can fix props
• Working with Children Check needed
• Basic computer skills
