Our Branch

Planning and Design branch is a team of over 200 professionals with extensive experience and a demonstrated record of excellence in the planning, design and documentation of civil and civic infrastructure projects for Council.

As a professional services branch within Infrastructure Services, the branch is committed to delivering successful design and infrastructure planning outcomes that balance cost and environmental considerations with community-friendly infrastructure. Planning and Design partners with a range of Council program areas and provides a significant contribution to almost all the infrastructure works delivered by Council.

The Role

We are looking for a passionate RPEQ Principal Engineer to manage and coordinate pavement projects, services and resources to meet time, cost and quality targets. You will lead by example to deliver quality engineering services, model and lead performance excellence.

To be successful you will have:

•  proficiency of pavement design, rehabilitation and capacity to provide advice
• experience in leading multidisciplinary teams to deliver projects
• RPEQ as a Civil Engineer
• ability to work collaboratively to direct and coordinate work on projects
• lead continuous improvement across planning and design
• demonstrated stakeholder management experience
