With exciting growth plans, Eastern Guruma is looking to engage a Trainer & Assessor to join our Solomon team. The role is a permanent full time FIFO opportunity. Working an 8:6 roster, 12 hours a day.

What does the role involve?

  • Preparing and delivering workplace training and assessment needs consistent with Eastern Guruma standards
  • Developing and implementing site training and assessment resources and materials against company qualifications
  • Maintaining and updating of training and assessment records
  • Conducting verification of competencies for operational sites
  • Administration, reporting and continual improvement of requirements for training and assessment
  • Coaching and mentoring any and all site staff as required
  • Ensure compliance with all company policy and procedure

What are we looking for?

  • TAE40122 Certificate IV qualification in Training and Assessing
  • Training & Assessment experience with machine plant operators in mining, civil or rehabilitation environment
  • Experience with and understanding Verification of Competency (VOC) in the workplace
  • Previous experience operating machinery.
  • Current driver's licence
  • 4WD certificate
  • Strong administration, verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to complete full pre-employment medical including drug screen
