Workforce are currently seeking Precast Labourers for works located in the Newcastle area. You will be responsible for assisting in the production of precast concrete components for construction projects. This is a hands-on role that requires physical labour and attention to detail to ensure the high-quality manufacture of precast elements.

Experienced applicants are encouraged to apply. This role is however also open to people who have labour experience in other fields and are keen to learn precast works.

Candidates with demonstrated experience completing hand finishing/patch and repair are highly desired and also encouraged to apply.

About the Role

  • $ $ Regular OT
  • View to permanency for the right candidate
  • Buchanan Location
  • ASAP start for the right person
  • 5 Days per week Monday-Friday

Duties may include

  • Assisting with placement of reobar cages
  • Finishing of concrete products
  • Assisting with the production, pouring, and finishing of precast concrete
  • Preparing, assembling, and disassembling formwork and moulds
  • Maintaining a clean and organised work environment
  • Following all safety protocols and procedures

What we're looking for

  • Previous experience working in a construction or manufacturing environment, preferably in a precast concrete facility
  • Basic use of hand and power tools
  • WHS White Card
  • Ability to pass pre-employment physical including D&A screening
  • Reliable transport
  • Ability to follow safe work practices and uphold all safety standards
