About you:

You thrive within a team environment whilst willing to learn, adapt and take on feedback

Experience

A minimum of 1 -2 years' experience is preferred and your key personality traits are an advantage as we are looking for fun and happy people

Job Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Well presented with high levels of personal hygiene
  • Prepare all food using the Jamaica Blue Recipes from BlueRoom
  • Ensure all food is plated consistently and according to JB standards
  • Ensure the production area and equipment is clean, hygienic and maintained at all times
  • Communicate with customer service staff in regards with "specials" for the day
  • Continuous improvement of kitchen processes and productivity
  • Prepare kitchen and food items for the following day
  • Ability to work on feet for extended periods
  • Keep back of house checklists up to date

Skills

  • Punctual and reliable
  • Flexible and adaptable
  • Full Qualification related to Cookery (AQF Certificate III and/or AQF Certificate IV)
  • Highly Motivated & Career Driven
  • Sound knowledge of Cost control, OH&S and development
  • Has extremely high standards with a want to exceed expectations
  • High attention to detail, clean, tidy and extremely well organised
