The Role:
As Shift Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the afternoon shift operations and ensuring that all production targets are met. In this role you'll drive a culture of safety, efficiency and continuous improvement, ensuring smooth and effective operations from end to end.
 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leadership & Team Development: Lead, coach and develop a dedicated team supporting them to achieve individual and team goals.
  • Operational Excellence: Ensure adherence to safety, quality and production standards throughout each stage of the Manufacturing process.
  • Continuous Improvement: Drive improvement initiatives, encouraging team-based problem-solving and analysing production data to enhance performance and reduce inefficiencies.
  • Compliance & Safety: Maintain a strong commitment to OH&S, GMP, and HACCP standards, promoting a safe work environment and enforcing proper incident management practices.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Build effective relationships with stakeholders across manufacturing, quality and maintenance to ensure the alignment of objectives and timely troubleshooting.

What You Bring:

  • 4–5 years' leadership experience in manufacturing (FMCG/food industry preferred).
  • Strong understanding of food safety, HACCP, and GMP.
  • Proficient problem-solving and analytical capabilities - you're driven by data and solutions
  • Exceptional communicator who motivates teams and brings energy to the floor.
  • Exposure to SAP and high-speed packaging equipment is a bonus.
  • Qualifications in Business, Engineering, Food Technology or similar are highly regarded.
