About the Role

We are seeking an Analytics Consultant based in Australia to help businesses use data to improve performance, identify opportunities and make informed decisions. This role involves working closely with clients, understanding their needs, and developing tailored analytical solutions. The ideal candidate has strong analytical ability, communication skills and experience using data tools to deliver insights and recommendations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work with clients to understand business challenges and data requirements.
  • Collect, analyse and interpret data to provide actionable insights.
  • Design dashboards, reports and analytical models using BI tools.
  • Present findings and recommendations to stakeholders and clients.
  • Communicate complex data in a clear and practical manner.
  • Support data-driven strategy, performance tracking and optimisation.
  • Develop and document analytical frameworks and methodologies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data quality and usability.
  • Provide training and guidance to clients on data tools and reporting processes.

Skills & Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in Analytics, Business, Economics, Statistics, Computer Science or related field.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, Looker, Qlik).
  • Proficiency in SQL for data querying.
  • Ability to interpret data and communicate insights effectively.
  • Strong presentation and client communication skills.

Preferred:

  • Experience in consulting, advisory or client-facing roles.
  • Knowledge of Python or R for advanced analytics.
  • Familiarity with financial modelling or business performance metrics.
  • Understanding of data governance and reporting standards.
  • Experience working with stakeholders across different industries.
