What you'll be doing

  • Assisting with the operation and maintenance of the hatchery, including water quality monitoring, feeding, and cleaning of tanks and equipment
  • Monitoring the health and growth of hatchlings and juveniles, and reporting any issues to the senior aquaculture team
  • Participating in data collection and record-keeping to support continuous improvement of hatchery processes
  • Collaborating with the wider operations team to ensure efficient and effective hatchery operations
  • Undertaking training and development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge in the field of aquaculture

What we're looking for

  • A relevant tertiary qualification in aquaculture, marine biology, science or a similar field

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Graduate Aquaculture Attendant to join our team at Seafarms in Exmouth, Western Australia. This full-time position will see you playing a crucial role in the day-to-day operations of our aquaculture hatchery, supporting the growth and development of our prawns.
