What you'll be doing
- Assisting with the operation and maintenance of the hatchery, including water quality monitoring, feeding, and cleaning of tanks and equipment
- Monitoring the health and growth of hatchlings and juveniles, and reporting any issues to the senior aquaculture team
- Participating in data collection and record-keeping to support continuous improvement of hatchery processes
- Collaborating with the wider operations team to ensure efficient and effective hatchery operations
- Undertaking training and development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge in the field of aquaculture

What we're looking for
- A relevant tertiary qualification in aquaculture, marine biology, science or a similar field
- Strong attention to detail and a keen interest in the science and practice of aquaculture
- Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills to identify and address any issues that arise
- Good physical fitness and the ability to work in a hands-on, outdoor environment
- A collaborative and team-oriented approach, with the ability to work effectively with others

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Graduate Aquaculture Attendant to join our team at Seafarms in Exmouth, Western Australia. This full-time position will see you playing a crucial role in the day-to-day operations of our aquaculture hatchery, supporting the growth and development of our prawns.
