Boton has been established in the Australian market for several years- Recently ticking over 300km of supplied belt to a major iron ore customer. Earlier this year, Boton made the commitment to enter the service business as a full scope conveyor maintenance and rubber lining supplier. With an established workforce and customer base we are now looking to expand our capacity and capabilities. Position Description: Trainee Belt Splicer/Rubber Liner - Port Hedland - RESIDENTIAL APPLICANTS ONLY

Reporting to the supervisor, the trainee's tasks will include but are not limited to, workshop work of hot and cold rubber lining of various components, ceramic tiling, pulley lagging, on site shutdown rubber lining, responding to any breakdown on customer sites as required, on site conveyor belt installations of fabric and steel cord belts, conveyor belt splicing, hot and cold repairs, equipment and shutdown preparation and actively learning and developing new skills in belt splicing and rubber lining.

Knowledge and Experience:

No prior industry experience is required, however a mechanically minded aptitude, self-motivated, comfortable working with hand held tooling and power tools, willingness to work long hours on remote sites in normal Pilbara conditions and enjoy working in a team environment will be advantageous.

Qualifications/Tickets:

• Current Driver's License
• HR License (Advantage)
• High Risk Work License including Forklift, Basic Rigging, EWP. (Advantage)
• Working @ heights and confined space (Advantage)
