About Us

Enviro Sweep is a privately owned, Australian, National company that is inclusive, friendly, and safety focused. We are an environmental business playing a leading role in reducing waste to landfill. Our services are considered essential and provided all year-round but with recent cyclone weather, the value of our sweeper services in the community is really demonstrated. It is not only streets that we work on but also construction sites, airports or events, for example.

Due to continuing growth, we are looking for Street Sweeper Operators to show their prowess as prompt, and/or looking for drivers who want to switch to a new career as a Sweeper Operator. A number of roles and a solid amount of hours are being offered.

The Opportunity

We are seeking mature, reliable people for the position of Road & Site Sweeper Operator who will work in and around the suburbs of Sydney. Using your preference for variety,  a safety focus and working independently in both Day and Nightshifts is a part of this offer .

Successful candidates will work out of our Arndell Park depot and report to the very hands-on Branch Manager.

No sweeping experience necessary - we will train you

Main Responsibilities of the Role

  • Performing of all required road and site sweeping duties as scheduled
  • Performing any general labouring duties that may be required
  • Ensuring road sweeping work meets the standards of management and the expectations of customers
  • The completion of site inductions and accreditation with respect to customer sites where required
  • Performing all required start-up, wash-down, end of shift, and routine maintenance procedures

To be great at this role, you must:

  • Have a current New South Wales MR license or higher
  • Have minimum of 12 months truck driving experience or if no/minimal experience, bring a willingness to be trained
  • Happy and willing to work varied & flexible hours, including overtime & weekend work; this is essential.
  • Able to work independently & use sound judgement whilst maintaining a company driven focus
  • Bring strong practical time management skills
  • Have the ability to follow instructions and comply with safe work methods
  • Can work and learn in a team environment and build and maintain strong relationships with teammates
  • Demonstrate attention to detail and believe in delivering high quality work
  • Be willing to undergo a pre-employment medical & drug and alcohol screen
