What's the Opportunity?

We're offering a 12-month paid placement with our Reservations Team—perfect for someone exploring a future in Christian missions and looking to see what life in a programme is really like.

This is your chance to experience missions from the inside—answering phones, booking flights, helping passengers, loading aircraft, and learning what it takes to keep our mission moving. You'll work alongside passionate pilots and staff, and make a real difference every single day.

  • NOTE This position is only open to those with current 'rights to work' in Australia due to Immigration restrictions. As part of the recruitment process, a Criminal History check will be required for the sucessful applicants**

What You'll Be Doing

  • Assisting customers via phone, email, and in-person with flight bookings and freight enquiries
  • Issuing quotes and keeping customers informed of changes and delays
  • Helping pilots with check-in, baggage, and loading/unloading aircraft
  • Processing payments, purchase orders, and invoices

Placement Details

  • Starts Sept 2025
  • Must be 18+ years old
  • This is a paid placement, but you'll need to cover your own flights, food, insurance & essentials
  • Accommodation and daily transport provided by MAF Arnhem Land

What You Need

Essential
Solid admin and customer service experience

Confident using a computer (and bonus points if you've wrangled spreadsheets)

Friendly, flexible, and ready to serve across cultures

Physically capable of lifting bags and helping around aircraft

Desirable (aka nice to have)
Experience with Microsoft Office

Some aviation or financial admin background
