Your Role The purpose of this role is to provide high-level operations, team management, planning and project support to the Executive Manager, IIA Pricing, and to the broader IIA Pricing leadership team within the Intermediated Insurance Division of IAG. Your role is critical to ensuring seamless day-to-day operations, allowing the leadership team to focus on strategic initiatives and business priorities. As the Pricing Operations Consultant, you'll assist with managing team operation and coordination to foster seamless and optimal ways of work. This includes supporting project and budget management, overseeing procurement and technology needs, and tracking the progress of key initiatives. You'll contribute to the preparation of project, meeting and leadership materials, shaping content based on subject matter understanding and coordinating across the team. You'll assist with drafting and proofreading communications and presentations, and liaising with both internal and external stakeholders. Your position plays a pivotal role in enabling team effectiveness and collaboration. It requires strong interpersonal and stakeholder engagement skills, with responsibilities that include managing people resource workflows, coordinating onboarding, and supporting internal and external communication and events. Your role goes beyond traditional executive support and team operation duties, requiring a blend of analytical, project, and team management capabilities to enhance operational outcomes. This is a full-time permanent opportunity, based in Gadigal Country (Darling Park, Sydney). About You Proven experience in team operations, resource planning, or executive support within financial services, corporate or consulting environments. Self-directed and ability to anticipate needs and act proactively. Ability to manage multiple tasks and shifting priorities with composure. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Tech-savvy with a curious mindset and willingness to learn. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office and collaboration tools (e.g., SharePoint, Excel, PowerPoint), with the ability to manage internal systems and documentation. Ability to build strong relationships across teams and with external stakeholders. High level of confidentiality and discretion in handling sensitive information. Detail-oriented with a continuous improvement mindset. Excellent interpersonal, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills, with experience supporting diverse teams and managing cross-functional collaboration. Background in actuarial science, finance, commerce, accounting or related disciplines, with the ability to interpret technical contexts and support broader business functions will be advantageous.
