We are seeking a proactive and technically skilled IT Support & Endpoint Engineer to join our team on a contract basis. This role is ideal for someone with hands-on experience in Windows 11 environments, endpoint management, and software packaging, holding current NV1 Clearance based in Sydney who thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced setting.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage and allocate tickets using ServiceNow
• Troubleshoot and resolve Windows 11 in-place upgrade issues, including language mismatches and
Visual C++ redistributable installation failures
• Diagnose and resolve issues on individual PCs
• Implement and maintain Group Policy Objects (GPOs), including:
• Aligning Windows 11 power settings with Windows 10 standards
• Updating Edge GPOs to support preferred browser extensions
• , Investigate and resolve issues with Office 365 add-ins (e.g., Analyse add-in troubleshooting)
• Drive improvements in Windows patching compliance
• Support SCCM packaging and software release processes, including backlog clearance
• Assist in optimizing the Patch My PC (PMPC) process
• Develop and maintain Power BI reports for software compliance tracking
Desired Skills & Experience:
• Strong knowledge of Windows 11 environments and endpoint troubleshooting
• Experience with SCCM and software packaging workflows
• Familiarity with Group Policy management and configuration
• Exposure to Office 365 troubleshooting and add-in diagnostics
• Working knowledge of Power BI for reporting and compliance insights
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
