What are we looking for?

The position of
Level 2 Network Engineer
is to provide technical support to both internal and external clients of Arxis. The Employee must ensure that all work is carried out in line with the defined Service Level Agreement standards and to the Standard Operating Processes of Arxis.

The Employee will also be required to provide peer support to other Level 2 technical staff to ensure a high standard of technical support is provided to clients of Arxis.

The Position is a hands-on role requiring technical skills as well as self-management and team player qualities to ensure the smooth running of the technical support team.

Key Accountabilities and Tasks:

  • Provide first-level and second-level technical support to all clients of Arxis;
  • Undertake technical projects for clients of Arxis;
  • Provide assistance in consultation with other Engineers;
  • Provide technical support to internal staff of the Arxis;
  • Provide professional, regular and informative communication to clients throughout the course of all work carried out;
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records within the CRM/ Call logging system;
  • Potentially provide on-call assistance to maintenance clients after work hours for approximately 1 week in every 4 weeks;
  • Help internally to administrative and sales staff as directed by the CEO; and
  • Perform other duties as stipulated by the Chief Technology Officer and/or the CEO that may advise from time to time.

Experience with some or all of the following technologies would be highly regarded:

  • Cybersecurity: Fortinet, SentinelOne, KnowBe4, Check Point Harmony
  • Network: HPE Aruba, Fortinet, Netskope
  • Server/Storage: IBM, Lenovo, HP, Red Hat
  • Tools: HaloPSA, NinjaOne, TeamViewer, SentinelOne, Zabbix, Veeam.
  • Setup and troubleshoot networking (Switching, Routers, Firewalls) including VLANs and WIFI (HPE Aruba and Fortinet).
  • Windows Server experience (configuring, managing) and Microsoft 365 admin experience
  • Experience in Microsoft Azure Active Directory, Entra and Intune

Qualifications:

  • Must have full Australian Citizenship and a valid car license.
  • Exceptional customer service skills with demonstrated experience in a Service Desk environment.
  • Strong communication skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Some experience in a similar role preferred.
