Myer is looking for a Workforce Operations Manager who will lead the Workforce Management team to optimise store workforce operations, ensuring alignment with business goals and daily service metrics. This includes overseeing budgeting, scheduling, time and attendance and workforce analytics, while driving continuous improvement and financial accuracy. You'll play a key role in delivering insights to support strategic decision, leading cross-functional collaboration and enhancing the customer experience through effective workforce planning.
About the role:
- Provides leadership to the workforce management team in the areas of budgeting, scheduling, time & attendance and workforce analytics.
- Supports strategic business decisions by leading the workforce operations team to provide accurate analysis of Key Performance Indicators.
- Provides leadership to maintain accurate financial record keeping systems for invoice management, accruals & financial journal processing.
- Collaborates & builds effective relationships with other business leaders in support office & stores including Store Management, Finance, IT, Retail Support & Suppliers.
- Proactively leads continuous improvement of the Workforce Operations team by providing coaching and leading the development of the team.
- Leads investigation of schedule adherence & forecast variances and recommends changes to enhance forecast accuracy and effectiveness.
- Leads projects to deliver positive profit outcomes and enhance customer experience in stores.
- Driving profitable outcomes in salary spend by delivering accurate costings of all store workforce activities.
- Communicates company policies & procedural information to teams, ensuring operational compliance with policy.
About you:
- Sound understanding of workforce planning principles and systems in the areas of budgeting, forecasting, scheduling, time & attendance and workforce analytics.
- Previous experience in UKG / Kronos timekeeping systems preferred.
- Previous experience managing a team of direct reports.
- Advanced competency in Microsoft suite.
- Advanced ability to interpret and use complex data to drive outcomes and influence key business stakeholders.
- Tertiary education in a relevant field such as business, commerce, analytics or finance is desirable.
