About the business:

All Metal Industries is a fast pace, rapidly growing metal distribution company with huge client base spanning across a range of industries. 

About the role:

We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Team Member that is looking to join a committed and professional team.

The warehouse team member will be responsible for assisting with the packing and preparing orders for delivery.

This role will operate on a full-time basis working five days a week.

Key tasks and responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Assemble orders in line with existing operating procedures

  • Accurately pick and pack orders with a view to achieve 100% customer satisfaction.

  • Ensure received stock is placed in appropriate Warehouse location.

  • Assist with loading the delivery truck daily.

  • Serving customers with pickups

  • Ensure customers and fellow staff members adhere to All Metal Industries Safety guidelines.

  • Maintain a clean and tidy workplace.

About You…

You will have had a prior history of warehousing, logistics or manufacturing combined with customer service experience. You will have the ability to work to tight deadlines, be reliable and self motivated, have a willingness to take on additional tasks and value personal and team safety. A forklift licence will be seen as an advantage.

  • Experience within warehousing/distribution industry

  • Fit and able bodied - Lifting up to lengths of 15kg

  • Pick and pack warehouse experience - lifting up to 6.5m lengths of aluminium extrusions

  • Work safely and add value to the OHS culture.

  • Be a self-starter

  • Have a willingness to learn and develop.

  • Positive attitude
