Informatica Senior Developer

Job Description

Key accountabilities of the role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Informatica Developer to join our data

engineering team. The ideal candidate will have over 8 years of hands-on experience in

designing, developing, and maintaining ETL solutions using Informatica PowerCenter and

related tools. You will play a key role in managing complex data integration projects, ensuring

data quality, and supporting business intelligence initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:


• Design, develop, and implement ETL workflows using Informatica PowerCenter, IICS, or other

Informatica tools.


• Collaborate with data architects, analysts, and business stakeholders to understand data

requirements and translate them into technical solutions.


• Optimize and troubleshoot existing ETL processes for performance and reliability.


• Ensure data integrity, quality, and security across all ETL pipelines.


• Work with large datasets from various sources including relational databases, flat files, cloud

platforms, and APIs.


• Perform unit testing, system integration testing, and support UAT.


• Document ETL processes, data mappings, and technical specifications.


• Participate in code reviews and mentor junior developers.


• Support production deployments and resolve post-deployment issues.

Required Skills & Qualifications:


• 8 years of experience in Informatica PowerCenter or IICS.


• Strong SQL skills and experience with Oracle, SQL Server, or Teradata.


• Experience with data warehousing concepts, dimensional modeling, and data lakes.


• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and cloud-based data integration.


• Knowledge of scheduling tools (Control-M, Autosys) and version control systems (Git).


• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.


• Strong communication and collaboration abilities
