About the role
We are seeking an energetic Pharmacy Assistant to join our team at Gympie Soul Pattinson Pharmacy, Gympie. In this fulltime role, you will play a pivotal part in supporting our pharmacy operations and providing excellent customer service to our patients.
What you'll be doing
- Assisting the pharmacist with prescription processing, medication preparation and dispensing
- Providing attentive customer service to patients, answering queries and addressing concerns
- Maintaining accurate records and inventory of pharmaceutical stock
- Completing administrative tasks such as data entry, filing and general office duties
- Adhering to all pharmacy safety and quality procedures
- Contributing to a positive and collaborative team environment
What we're looking for
- A staff member willing to complete a staff traineeship in Pharmacy Support or equivalent qualifications
- Demonstrated experience in a customer service environment
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately under pressure
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in using software and computer systems
- Commitment to upholding pharmacy regulations and maintaining patient confidentiality
