Horticulture Trainer-Assessor

DP Training is a privately owned RTO which delivers nationally-recognised qualifications within the AHC Training packages. We are currently seeking a highly skilled, qualified, motivated and passionate Trainer Assessor to deliver training assessment both face to face class delivery and external delivery including RPL for the following qualifications.

• Certificate II in Horticulture
• Certificate III in Horticulture

The successful applicant would need relevant qualifications and current - industry experience in the qualifications they are to deliver.

Minimum 2 years current commercial horticulture experience (nursery, landscaping, or production horticulture)

The applicant will need current industry experience , a good understanding of RTO compliance, ability to engage students both Face to Face and virtual facilitation.

We are seeking a trainer/assessor who wants to inspire students and support them in their journey on a new pathway. The successful applicant should have a long term plan to be part of a company that will offer opportunities and support the applicants to succeed.

Essential requirements:

• TAE40110/TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment
• Equivalent Certification of Training to be delivered
• Certificate III in Horticulture or higher, OR relevant trade qualification in horticulture/landscaping
• Experience in the application of VET Quality Framework requirements in an RTO environment
• Minimum 1 year experience working within an RTO environment applying VET Quality Framework standards
• Knowledge of the AQF
• Proven ability to design and implement training products and delivery of assessment strategies
• Proven ability to conduct RPL assessments
• National Police Check and Blue Card
• Proven technological, communication and time management skills
• A passion for providing quality training
• Strong administration and organisational skills
• Driver's license and own vehicle
• Willing to travel
• The successful applicant will be employed on a contractual basis with an opportunity for growth to a full time role
