Handyman - Powertools, conuit fitting

About the role

As a Installation Technician at Energy Wise Solutions pty ltd, you will play a crucial role in following an install manual to assist our experienced electricians to install Batteries at homes around Brisbane. Based in Coopers Plains, QLD, however we install at residential homes around brisbane , gold coast & Sunshine coast, this full-time position will see you utilising your expertise with power tools and conduit fitting on brick, concrete surfaces to ensure the electrician only has to focus on the electrical works.

What you'll be doing

• Get to the job and set up the base and at times battery ready for the electrician to do the cables, and all electrical work.
• Assist the electricians with conduit running and general clean up. Batteries have many boxes that need to be reloaded and taken off site.
• Operate and maintain a range of power tools and equipment to complete tasks efficiently. All supplied if needed.
• Identify and resolve issues proactively to minimise disruptions
• Collaborate with the broader team to ensure a safe and functional work environment
• Maintain detailed records of all work completed

What we're looking for

• Proven experience as a handyman or in a similar trade role
• Proficiency in the use of power tools and equipment, particularly for drilling into difference surfaces.
• Strong technical and problem-solving skills to diagnose and resolve a variety of installation issues
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with colleagues
• Commitment to safety and a keen eye for detail
• Flexible and adaptable to handle a diverse range of tasks
