About the Role:
We are currently seeking a skilled Cricket Curator. This role is responsible for the preparation, maintenance, and presentation of cricket wickets and outfields to a professional standard. The position requires strong turf management knowledge, hands-on experience, and a passion for delivering playing surfaces of the highest quality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare, maintain, and present cricket wickets and outfields to competition standards
- Undertake turf renovations, mowing, watering, rolling, and pitch marking
- Operate and maintain turf machinery and equipment
- Implement safe work practices and ensure compliance with WHS standards
- Monitor turf health and carry out pest, disease, and irrigation management
- Liaise with stakeholders, coaches, and sporting bodies to meet playing requirements
Skills & Experience:
- Proven experience as a Cricket Curator or in a turf management role
- Strong knowledge of cricket wicket preparation and turf care practices
- Relevant turf management qualifications (Certificate III in Sports Turf Management or similar preferred)
- Ability to operate and maintain turf equipment and machinery
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality standards
- Sound knowledge of WHS procedures
- Current C class Driver's Licence (MR/HR licence desirable)
- A recent National Police Clearance (
