Description
We are seeking a passionate Early Childhood Teacher, Nominated Supervisor and Educational Leader to join our team Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Providing leadership while working as a member of a cooperative team.
- Developing a high-quality educational program in consultation with families, children, Educators.
- Key functions include the development of a high-quality developmentally appropriate, educational program for children with a commitment to the active involvement of families and the local community.
- The program is to be developed in consultation with YRKI and the parents of the children attending.
- Ensuring that the kindergarten meets the DET Victorian Kindergarten Policy, Procedures, and Funding Criteria requirements, the Education and Care Services National Law Act 2010 and the Education and Care Services National Regulations 2011, VEYLDF (Victoria Early Years Learning and Development Framework) and the policies and procedures of YRK.
- Work in accordance with the standards outlined in the Early Childhood Australia (ECA) Code of Ethics, the Victorian Institute (VIT) Code of conduct and YRK's Code of Conduct and Child Safety Code of Conduct.

Qualifications
Qualifications suitable for an Early Childhood Teacher under the Education and Care Services National Law, Education and Care Services National Regulations and the DET Kindergarten Funding Guide. Be registered as an Early Childhood Teacher with the Victorian Institute of Teaching and continue to renew/maintain the registration during the course of employment. Hold a current:
- Approved first aid (and CPR) qualification
- Approved anaphylaxis management qualification
- Approved emergency asthma management qualification [MP1]
- Mandatory reporting – DFFH Service Providers
