The Role

An opportunity exists for a dedicated and experienced Legal Secretary – Wills & Estates to join the Morwell office of our successful legal practice. In this busy role you will provide comprehensive administrative and legal support across both estate planning and probate matters. Working closely with the Partner leading the Wills & Estates department, you will assist in the preparation of wills, powers of attorney, and other estate planning documents, as well as support the drafting and management of probate applications and estate administration tasks.

Your role will also involve client liaison, diary management, transcription of dictation, and general secretarial duties. You'll work closely with clients during sensitive times, ensuring that every matter is handled with professionalism, empathy, and care.

Your Experience

To be successful in this position you will have previous experience in a legal secretarial or clerk role, preferably within Wills & Estates.

You will have:

· excellent attention to detail and strong organisational skills.

· proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with Legal Management Software.

· a compassionate and professional manner when dealing with clients.

· high-level typing skills and experience with dictation transcription.
