About the Role

As a Pharmacy Assistant, you'll be a versatile member of our team, with responsibilities spanning customer service, medication handling, inventory management, and administrative support. Whether you're assisting patients at the counter, restocking shelves, or preparing prescriptions, your contribution will directly impact the patient experience and the efficiency of the pharmacy.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacists with dispensing medications and providing customer service
• Process prescriptions and handle transactions at the point of sale
• Manage stock levels, including ordering, receiving, and shelving medications
• Provide basic health advice and respond to customer queries within your scope
• Support the day-to-day operations of the pharmacy

About You

You're a motivated and reliable individual who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment. This role is a great entry point if you're looking to transition from retail or hospitality into healthcare.

Essential Requirements

• Australian working rights, valid for at least 6-months from the date of employment.
• Be able to address patient needs with confidentiality, sensitivity and professionalism.
• Capacity to work autonomously in a team environment.
• Experience in a customer-facing retail or hospitality role and possess excellent customer service skills.

Desirable Skills and Experience

• Retail pharmacy experience
• Experience managing stock levels, including ordering, receiving and taking inventory.
