Residential Plumber

AR Developments is on the lookout for a skilled and trade qualified Residential Plumber to become a key part of our growing plumbing team.

With over 20 years of experience, AR Developments has been developing communities across Brisbane with modern, turnkey townhouses designed for families and property investors. As a vertically integrated business, we manage the entire process, from development through to construction. Our current townhouse developments are located in McDowall and Thornlands with upcoming developments in the Springfield area.

About the role

This is a new position working within the plumbing team. You will be part of the greater AR Developments team working alongside our qualified and highly skilled civil, building and landscaping teams.

You will gain significant experience in project management, site logistics and planning to successfully deliver our projects safely, on time and to our high quality standards.

About you

The successful applicant will be experienced in residential townhouse plumbing, completing drainage, rough ins, stacks, fit offs and general plumbing.

You must be able to show initiative and a willingness to learn new skills, have an enthusiastic attitude, be self-motivated and adaptable, and show a strong commitment and a proven ability to work well within a team environment.

The successful applicant must:

• Have a Certificate III in Plumbing
• Have a current Occupational Plumbing & Drainage License
• Have 3 year's experience in all aspects of pluming and drainage, machinery tickets will be highly regarded
• Hold a current Australian manual driver's license
• Hold a White Card
• The demonstrated ability to ensure all inspection certificates for plumbing and drainage as per the Plumbing and Drainage Regulations Act 2018
• Assist in procurement of various materials and services for projects
• Demonstrate strong plan reading abilities, including interpreting construction details and specifications
• Be organised, able to work to deadline and have strong time management skills
• Be adept at critical thinking and problem solving
