About Us: Moin Morris Schaefer is a busy and dynamic general practice law firm with offices in 2 locations in Northern NSW.  Due to increasing demand for our services and growth in our diverse client base we are looking for an experienced Licensed Conveyancer to join our team in our Armidale office. Start date is flexible and remuneration is to be negotiated based on experience.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a team of 20 lawyers and support staff in an expanding and progressive regional law firm.

The Opportunity: We are seeking an experienced Licensed Conveyancer to join our team in Armidale. This position is designed to attract someone with experience in Residential and Rural property transactions to work alongside our highly experienced Property Law team.

The ideal applicant for this position has:

• 5 + years experience as a Licensed Conveyancer
• Experience managing and advising on sales and purchases of residential, rural and commercial property and leasing matters
• Ability to manage a conveyance end to end in an efficient and professional manner
• Experience conducting property searches and due diligence checks
• Experience preparing and reviewing contracts, transfer documents and settlement statements
• Ability to liaise with and manage clients, real estate agents, banks and other parties  to ensure smooth settlements
• Ability to resolve issues and delays proactively and professionally
• Adept in LEAP, PEXA, Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Teams and Microsoft Excel

Skills & Expertise:

• A current NSW Conveyancer's License
• In-depth knowledge of conveyancing legislation, regulations, and procedures
• Excellent communication skills with a strong focus on client service
• High attention to detail and strong organisational abilities
• The capacity to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team
• Proficiency in legal and conveyancing software such as LEAP, PEXA, Microsoft Office suite
