Duties & responsibilities:

In this role, the Trainee Driller will be pivotal in water bore drilling operations across Brisbane and the Gold Coast, with hands-on involvement in every stage of the process.

Your duties will include but not be limited to:

  • assisting the Driller in all aspects of water bore drilling operations
  • operating/maintaining our drilling rig, ensuring safe & efficient performance
  • setting up/packing up equipment at job sites as needed
  • participation in drilling/casing/developing finished water bores
  • driving our rig and equipment to/from sites (incl. off-road driving)
  • contributing to a safe and successful team environment.

What we're looking for

  • Full Australian working rights essential (Tamborine/Brisbane residency highly preferred)
  • Previous water bore drilling experience essential (diamond core/oil & gas drilling experience may not be sufficient)
  • Current HR driver's license essential
  • Proven off-road driving skills essential
  • Ability to handle a variety of tasks beyond direct drilling where needed
  • Self-sufficient approach to work.
