Events Supervisor

We're now seeking a hands-on Events Supervisor to join our dynamic team and take the lead in ensuring every function — from intimate celebrations to large-scale events — runs seamlessly.

The Role

Reporting to the Sales & Events Manager, you'll be responsible for the day-to-day coordination and delivery of all Club Tarneit functions and events.

Your focus will be on:

• Executing events to a high standard, ensuring a professional, welcoming experience for all guests
• Leading and motivating event staff through clear direction, communication, and support
• Managing event set-ups and pack-downs in line with Banquet Event Orders (BEOs)
• Acting as the main client contact throughout their event, ensuring every detail is delivered flawlessly
• Liaising closely with kitchen, bar, and operations teams to ensure seamless service
• Identifying and resolving operational issues with calm professionalism
• Maintaining event spaces to the highest level of presentation and cleanliness

You'll also assist the Sales & Events Manager with administrative duties and post-event feedback and may handle initial enquiries when required.

About You

You're an energetic, service-driven professional who thrives in a fast-paced hospitality environment. You're as comfortable leading a team on the floor as you are finalising last-minute details with clients.

• Exceptional organisational skills and attention to detail
• A proactive, can-do attitude with an eye for presentation and creativity

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Certificate in Hospitality or Events (or equivalent experience)
• Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA)
• Completion of Do Food Safely
• Flexible availability including weekends and public holidays
