At Partridge, we're growing our structural drafting team and looking for someone who combines technical excellence with a collaborative mindset. You'll play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality drawings, mentoring junior team members, and helping us continue to innovate in structural engineering.

What You'll Do

  • Lead the structural drafting process from concept through to detailed design.
  • Produce precise, builder-ready drawings in AutoCAD (with some Revit exposure a plus).
  • Collaborate with engineers, architects, and consultants to ensure seamless project delivery.
  • Anticipate builder needs and minimise construction queries with clear documentation.
  • Mentor junior draftspersons, sharing your expertise and helping them grow.
  • Work across exciting project types, including timber, masonry, steel, and concrete structures.

  • Deliver projects on time, on budget, and with exceptional quality.
  • Receive positive feedback from clients and colleagues.
  • Maintain strong utilisation and efficiency, keeping rework to a minimum.
  • Help build a cohesive, supportive drafting team.

What You'll Bring

  • Diploma of Civil Construction Design (or equivalent).
  • 5+ years' experience in structural drafting across diverse projects.
  • Advanced knowledge of structural systems, connections, and construction techniques.
  • High proficiency in AutoCAD; Revit experience desirable.
  • Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach.
  • A proactive, reliable work ethic and commitment to continuous improvement.
