The Shaws Bay Hotel is an enduring East Ballina Icon which has undergone an exciting modernisation. With a huge footprint directly on the beautiful waters of Shaws Bay, this is a food driven, high capacity and high turnover venue. A brand-new bar and kitchen with a quality equipment fit out await you. Our aim is to deliver exceptional service in a truly unique coastal setting.

We are on the hunt for energetic, people focused Bartenders, Cocktail Bartenders, Bistro Crew, Food Runners and Glassies to join our professional team.

Availability to work during peak trading times, nights and weekends, is essential.

To be successful within our team we ask that you have

  • Any legally required certificates for your role for example NSW RSA, RCG, Food Safety Cert
  • A genuine desire to deliver exceptional service, every time
  • Several years' experience in a similar environment, other than in Junior roles
  • A sense of humour and ability to keep calm and carry on
  • A Team Player mentality and a pride in your workplace
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • An energy & drive that your team will be inspired to replicate
