Role

We are looking to bring in a couple temporary Infrastructure Engineer / Systems Administrator for a 3-month contract to assist with critical infrastructure-related cyber remediation efforts. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in systems administration, networking, and security, with hands-on experience in remediating infrastructure vulnerabilities.

Key Skills and Experience

  • Proven experience in Windows server environments
  • Deep knowledge of networking (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, routing etc.
  • Expertise in patch management, system hardening, and vulnerability remediation
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure Cloud)
  • Proficiency in automation and scripting (Bash, PowerShell, Python)
  • Experience with monitoring, alerting, and backup systems
  • Strong problem-solving skills and experience handling critical incident

Desirable

  • Experience with interpreting audit findings/pen test outcomes & determining next steps

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with remediation of identified security vulnerabilities across infrastructure systems
  • Troubleshoot and resolve performance or security issues Implement best practices for system hardening, security monitoring, and patching
