The Opportunity

Join a dynamic team supporting marine operations across Australia. We're seeking a proactive and organised
Operations Coordinator
to manage end-to-end crewing activities for our vessels and projects. This role operates on a
2 weeks on / 2 weeks off roster
, supporting marine operations in
Dampier
.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate recruitment, onboarding, and scheduling of crew in line with project and compliance requirements.
  • Manage crew mobilisation including flights, inductions, D&A testing, and portal onboarding.
  • Liaise with Vessel Masters and Superintendents on crewing matters and escalate issues as needed.
  • Maintain accurate crew records, rosters, and training compliance using HRIS systems.
  • Support payroll, performance management, and grievance resolution processes.
  • Assist with PPE management, sea service statements, and travel bookings.
  • Provide after-hours support and coverage during staff absences.
  • Drive continuous improvement in crewing processes and systems.

What You'll Bring

  • 5+ years' experience in a similar role within the maritime industry.
  • Experience in personnel logistics including travel management and accommodation bookings within a mining, oil & gas, resources, marine or related industries is essential.
  • Extensive knowledge of marine certifications and operations is (highly desirable).
  • Proven problem-solving ability and time management skills are essential.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Experience in data entry, Excel, and SharePoint is (desirable).
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision and meet deadlines.
  • High level of integrity, discretion, and professionalism.
