This role is a 12 month fixed term maternity leave cover.
Purpose
To ensure that all urgent requests are attended to quickly and calmly, to inspire confidence in customers in areas related to mental health and well-being of employees. To utilise a calm approach to emotionally charged situations and people with the aim of assisting organisations to manage mental health in line with workplace health and safety concerns. The role involves working with the Client services team and the Clinical Response team especially around resourcing and providing support and guidance to the team. This role is phone based only.
Please note this role is ideal for someone who is a recent graduate or has limited experience. This role would NOT be suitable for someone who is already an established counsellorKey accountabilities
- Triaging incoming calls through the critical incident support line and quickly identify and respond to customer needs in event of critical incident or onsite support requests.
- Triage of issues and responding appropriately according to procedures and guidelines.
- Provide timely initial consultations with our customers seeking urgent and non-urgent incident requests, and ensuring the support being arranged is in line with clinical best practice.
- Case management of urgent and non-urgent incident requests from beginning to end and being the customers first point of contact if needed.
- Record all information relating to onsite requests, critical incidents and referrals on case management system.
- Working closely and supporting the clinical response coordinators around resourcing a clinician to attend.
- Provide detailed briefing to the clinician who deliver the clinical support for critical incidents and onsite support services.
- If required, provide debriefs following critical incidents to our clinical associates.
- Ensuring follow up with customers and clinicians is completed after critical incident and onsite support.
- Reviewing and sending out reports to customers, ensuring all reports are recorded in case management system.
Required skills
- A qualification in Psychology, Social Work or Counselling
- Provisional registration with a professional body
